Biography: Adriana Lima is "the best face in the industry" and "the most in demand runway model in the world". Her rise to stardom started in some unlikely conditions. Lima just a normal 13 year old girl when she was discovered at a local shopping mall. When she was 15 she bagged a first place at the Ford supermodel contest held in Brazil. Lima later received a second place finish in the highly competitive 1996 Ford Supermodel of the World contest.
